LTC Package Srinagar - Package Itinerary
Day 01 : Arrive in Srinagar
On arrival at Srinagar Airport you will be met by our representative and transferred to your houseboat or budget/luxury (5 star) hotels in Srinagar. Distance from airport to city centre is approx. 14kms & travel time of 45mins. Evening enjoy a romantic Shikara ride on the quaint & pleasing Dal Lake. Overnight stay at a hotel in Srinagar
Day 02 : Sightseeing in Srinagar
Today go for Srinagar sightseeing tour. Tourist places in Srinagar: Mughal Gardens, Shankaracharya Temple (located at a height of 1000ft above the plain overlooking the city of Srinagar, and dates back to 200BC), Nishat Bagh (Garden of Joy/Delight - a terraced Mughal garden built in 1633 on the banks of the famous Dal Lake), Shalimar Bagh (Built in 1619 by the Mughal emperor Jehangir for his wife Noor Jahan). If time permits, also visit the Hazratbal Shrine (a Muslim shrine in Srinagar). Overnight stay at hotel in Srinagar.
Day 03 : Full day Pahalgam tourism excursion (Distance 98kms one way & 3hrs. journey)
After early morning breakfast drive to Pahalgam, the Valley of Shepherds; Enroute drive through the Saffron fields of Pampora and observe the beautiful countryside. Also visit Awantipura Ruins (an 1100yrs old temple built in the 09th century by King Avantivarman and dedicated to lord Vishu). Continue your drive to Pahalgam through the pine forests and Lidder River. Afternoon free for individual activities Pahalgam is a popular tourist destination and a world famous hill station with breath-taking views. Situated at a height of 7200ft above sea level, it is surrounded with fragrant pine forest that includes a golf course. Evening return to Srinagar for your overnight stay at hotel.
Optional Activities : Enjoy a horse ride to Baisaran - an exciting place where a stream flows through the meadows and pine trees.
Day 04 : Tour & Excursion to Gulmarg (Distance 55kms & 2hrs. journey)
This morning go on picturesque drive to Gulmarg. Gulmarg (Meadow of flowers) - Identified as a tourist destination by the British in the 19th century; it is now one of the most famous tourist spots of Kashmir. Situated at an altitude of 2,730 meters above sea level it has the world’s highest 18 holes green golf course, as well as delightful ski slopes
Evening return to Srinagar for overnight stay at deluxe houseboat.
Optional Activities : Enjoy a Gondola ride to Kungdoor (Phase I)/ Apharwat peak (Phase II) and enjoy the views of Nanga Parbat
Day 05 : Departure from Srinagar
After breakfast enjoy the morning in Srinagar and get ready for transfer to the Srinagar airport to board your scheduled flight for onward destination.
